Victorian Minister for Child Protection and Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers Luke Donnellan announced he was stepping down as a minister in the Andrews Government. This comes amid an ongoing Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) investigation into allegations of corrupt conduct involving Victorian public officers.
Luke Donnellan has resigned from the Andrews government cabinet after he was alleged to have paid for branchstacking members. He called the Premier earlier this afternoon and will remain on the backbench.
Federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne says he, Adem Somyurek and Victorian Child Protection Minister Luke Donnellan paid thousands of dollars to renew party memberships on behalf of others.
What people are saying?
Calvin Vast contrast with Morrison, Christian Porter still hanging on and wants to stand for re-election.Barnarby Joyce the deputy PM from a very minor party , polled 5.3 % of votes in 2019 wants Porter back as Minister.!
Lost Jackets I wonder if/when IBAC will get around to the Socialist Left branch-stackers, including a former federal Labor MP Alan Griffiths staffer who has since made it big in state politics.
