Apple employee who led organizing efforts against harassment has been fired.

An Apple employee who led fellow workers in publicly sharing instances of what they called harassment and discrimination at the company said that she had been fired.

Apple has said that it is “deeply committed to creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace” and that it takes “all concerns” from employees seriously.

Apple fired a leader of the #AppleToo movement that saw 500 employees report workplace harassment and discrimination. Janneke Parrish was fired for allegedly deleting files on her work phone. She is the 2nd worker fired after speaking out on harassment in a month.
