Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine booster provides protection against severe illness and reduces the risk of hospitalization from Omicron,

Johnson & Johnson’s booster shot strongly reduced hospitalization and showed promising protection against the omicron variant, according to a study of some 69,000 health care workers in South Africa.

Two doses of Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine provided up to 85 percent protection against hospitalization from the Omicron variant, researchers in South Africa reported on Thursday.

Two reports released Thursday show that people who get booster doses of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine are well protected against severe disease and hospitalization from the Omicron variant of coronavirus, the company said.

As someone that’s works in the healthcare field. I can say that this is accurate. I would say about 90% of the patients that have been hospitalized are either unvaccinated or immunocompromised (which makes sense considering how vaccinated work).

Zach Flowers I mean can we really believe this stuff anymore after the cdc just shortened the amount of days quarantined after a ceo complained to them about it. At this point it’s clear. Profits over people.
