The HIV variant that was recently found in the Netherlands has been monitored for decades and has no link to COVID-19 vaccines. There is also no evidence that COVID-19 vaccines cause AIDS.
Claims Covid vaccination is behind a newly discovered variant of HIV are spreading on social media. There’s no evidence for this, and the variant in question is thought to have originated around 30 years ago.
Social media users are falsely trying to link a newly identified HIV variant to the COVID-19 vaccines. But the experts say the variant has been circulating for decades, and there is no connection between the vaccines and HIV.
What people are saying?
Pup Rowdy If you look up the research articles on it. It’s a variant of a subtype of HIV-1. So it’s not the variant like we are thinking witch Covid. It’s also been around since 2002. And a little more than 100 people have this type. A/P really needs to hire proper scientific reporters.
Typo Enthusiast Everyone should get tested for hiv regardless. People don’t even know that they have it until it’s too late anyway, and that’s been an issue since forever. I mean, the only way to truly get the facts is to get tested before covid/vax, and after.
