The antiviral pills developed by Merck and Pfizer, are not like ivermectin

Multiple independent virologists and disease experts told Reuters that the two new antiviral drugs function differently when compared to Ivermectin.

Merck and Pfizer are each developing a new oral antiviral drug that might prevent or treat COVID-19. The pills are very different from the antiparasitic medication ivermectin, contrary to online claims.

There’s no relationship between the parasite drug ivermectin and an antiviral drug Pfizer is testing to prevent COVID-19, despite false social media posts claiming they’re the same drug.

What people are saying?

Charlie Zxi There actually IS a relationship. See, that’s why they demonized Ivermectin, just like you are doing with the “animal treatment” statements. Because if IVM worked, ANYONE COULD AFFORD TREATING COVID. Can’t have that. We need them to buy our new pill.

KHB Why would anyone other than a brain-dead zombie think, much less believe, that a parasite and a virus are remotely similar and could be treated with the same medications, vaccines and drugs? These folk are scary in that they raise children and walk among rational humans.
