Vaccine clinics, children’s hospitals and pediatricians’ offices across the country have received shipments of Pfizer’s vaccine for children and are ready to put shots into arms now.
The CDC formally recommended Pfizer’s COVID vaccine for children 5-11 years old. The recommendation now expands to about 28 million children in the U.S. and allows providers to begin vaccinating children as soon as possible.
The CDC signs off on child doses of Covid-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11. The FDA already authorized them. Shots can now start and by next week, vaccinations for this age group will be running at full strength.

The Poorax rIf you have vulnerable children I understand, but if not this is insane. Kids are 4x more likely to end up in the hospital from heart inflammation from the vaccine that they are to end up in the hospital from covid. I’m not anti vax, I’m pro science.
Sheryl Douglas So many misinformed!!! This does’t protect from getting the disease nor does it keep anyone from spreading it according to the mfr. If the same vacc is being given, even in pediatric doses, administration began when the disease was waning, & it won’t protect against variants!
