On Thursday, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advised people to avoid cruise travel regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status and raised the health notice from a level 3 to a level 4, the highest level.
The virus that causes COVID-19 spreads easily between people in close quarters on board ships, the CDC said. “The chance of getting COVID-19 on cruise ships is very high, even if you are fully vaccinated,” or boosted.
The CDC raised its travel warning for cruise ships to its highest level, telling Americans to avoid cruises regardless of their Covid-19 vaccination status.
What people are saying?
MCGA Clearly vaccines aren’t working with new variants, just like any other virus, cv19 will keep on mutating, does this mean we will be hiding for rest of our lives, no cruiseships? No traveling? What’s our end goal? 2 weeks has turned into 2 years and there is no end in sight.
PeggyHarper I don’t know anywhere else I can go where everyone has been vaxxed AND had a negative test within 2 days of boarding. Much lower risk than the grocery or anywhere else!
