Research shows the Covid vaccines provide adequate protection against the omicron strain, especially against severe disease, hospitalization and death. But drugmakers say they will continue to work on variant-specific boosters in case they are needed.

Frank Pappas The problem going forward is that those of us who have received multiple rounds of shots are not going to keep running out for the latest round, and those who didn’t receive the vaccine definitely are not reconsidering at this point.
