The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge inaugurated the first-ever Earthshot awards ceremony on Sunday in London. The prize, founded by Prince William and British naturalist David Attenborough, aims to inspire innovative solutions to the most pressing environmental challenges to repair the planet over the next decade.
Milan and Costa Rica were among the winners of the Earthshot Prize on Sunday, an environmental award created by Britain’s Prince William, who has criticized world leaders for an uninspiring response to the climate change crisis.
The red carpet was green, stars were told not to wear anything new and Kate wore a 10-year-old Alexander McQueen dress. Welcome to Prince William’s $92 million planet saver awards.
