Killer of French Holocaust survivor jailed for life

A man who murdered an elderly Jewish woman in her Paris apartment sentenced to life in prison. Yacine Mihoub, 32, was convicted of stabbing 85-year-old Mireille Knoll 11 times and then setting her body alight during a botched robbery in March 2018.

Yacine Milhoub, a Muslim man, is convicted over the stabbing murder of an 85-year-old Jewish woman in Paris. The victim had escaped a round-up of Parisian Jews during WW2. The killer’s accomplice said he heard the man praise Allah when he was killing her.

A French court has sentenced the killer of elderly Jewish woman Mireille Knoll to life behind bars, with no possibility of parole for 22 years.
