Fact-checkers report that Massachusetts Department of Health data on COVID-19 related deaths has been misrepresented

Fact-checkers from AP, Reuters and The Dispatch say an online post has misrepresented the Massachusetts Department of Health reporting of COVID-19 deaths. According to the state’s statistics, the newest figures show that out of the state’s fully vaccinated population, about 0.008% have died from the virus.

The Massachusetts Department of Health did not report that 45% of COVID-19 deaths were among the vaccinated, as some social media users are claiming.
