A strike on TV and film productions was averted

On Saturday, Hollywood studios reached a tentative deal with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employee (IATSE), a union that represents around 60,000 films and TV workers. The new labor agreement that settles differences over work conditions and pay avoided a strike on major TV and film production hours before the deadline, IATSE announced.
