In response, a Saudi-led coalition, which includes the UAE, launched airstrikes against the Houthi capital, Saana, in Yemen.
Police identified two Indian nationals and one Pakistani killed in a suspected drone attack at an oil facility in the UAE’s Abu Dhabi. The attack was claimed by Yemen’s Houthi rebels.
The UAE has asked Secretary of State Tony Blinken to re-designate the Houthi rebels in Yemen as a terrorist organization following an escalation in attacks across the region — including an attack today on Abu Dhabi.
