Thousands of Poles participated in protests across the country on Sunday to show their support for Poland’s membership in the European Union, amid fears the country could leave the block. The demonstrations come after Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal declared last Thursday that Polish laws prevail over those of the European Union in areas where they clash.
Tens of thousands of Poles rallied on Sunday in defence of their country’s EU membership, after Poland’s top court last week issued a landmark ruling against the primacy of EU law.
More than 100,000 Poles demonstrated in support of European Union membership after a court ruling that parts of EU law are incompatible with the constitution raised concerns the country could eventually leave the bloc.

Eean Wyatt-Lees Dearest Poland. You have managed to flourish after WW2. You managed this with hard work and a belief that democracy and fair play is the route to your success. If you think the EU is a bad idea and you want to leave. Look at my country and the catastrophe that is Brexit. Be wise.
