D Karthik, a BJP youth wing leader, contested as an independent candidate

A BJP youth wing member from the state who received only one vote in the recently held local body poll has clarified that he stood as an independent candidate in Tamil Nadu. Speaking to The New Indian Express, Karthik, clarified, “I did not contest on behalf of BJP. I contested in the election as an independent candidate on a car symbol.”

D. Karthik is crying now. He contested the ward election from the BJP ticket in Coimbatore and secured just 01 vote. His own family members rejected BJP.

D.Karthik, a member of #BJP who contested in the local body poll has become the butt of a joke as he got only one vote though there are five members in his family.

Viratpandi That is not his Ward and his family members dont have vote there either. He contested as an independent candidate. He is not represented BJP. BJP alliance ADMK contested there.

Kvj In rural local body elections party candidates contest as independent.He too was BJP’s independent candidate.Entire BJP canvassed for him with life sized posters of Modiji.But got ONLY 01 VOTE.There were 3 Invalid Votes,even those voters wr not so kind on him.
