Voters across the US head to the polls

The two main party candidates are sure to be the top vote-getters. Polls have shown Gov. Phil Murphy has a comfortable lead, and could become the first Democratic governor to be reelected in New Jersey since 1977.

Polls opened Tuesday morning across New York and New Jersey. New Yorkers will vote to elect a new mayor, city comptroller, public advocate and several city council members.

Nearly a year and a half after George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer, voters in the city will have a choice: Keep the police department, or replace it with a public safety agency.

Terresa Voted in southwest Virginia where a sample ballot was given to us at the door. Only problem is only Republican candidates were listed so it was actually campaigning for Republicans. It’s my understanding that is illegal.
