Two interior ministry offices in northern Kosovo were attacked near border crossings blocked by local Serbs angered by a ban on cars with Serbian license plates entering the country, police say.

dtf1947 Serbs have never gotten over the loss of Kosovo, a region that is central to their national ethos (they lost a battle there hundreds of years ago, but it was a glorious defeat). So this is really about nationalistic macho and domestic issues of some kind.
