Delegations from Ukraine and Russia met again for conflict talks on Monday

The two sides met for another round of talks on Monday with progress reported on the issue of humanitarian corridors. More than 1.7 million people have fled Ukraine in the days since the Russian invasion began.

During a visit to Lithuania, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken sought to reassure Washington’s Baltic allies who fear that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not stop at Ukraine in trying to redraw the borders of Europe.

Volunteers who responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s appeal for foreign fighters against Russia say the Ukraine crisis gives them a purpose, even if it may have been a tough sell for their families back home.
