Ukrainian leaders tried to reassure those living in their country that, while the threat of Russian invasion is real, it is not imminently expected

President Joe Biden said that he would consider imposing direct sanctions on President Vladimir Putin if Russia invades Ukraine, as Western leaders stepped up preparations for any Russian military action in Ukraine.

On Tuesday, Ukrainian leaders tried to calm those living in their country by reassuring them that, while the threat of Russian invasion is real, it is not imminently expected. Russia, meanwhile, has denied it is planning an invasion — despite massing an estimated 100,000 troops along the border and seizing Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.

‘Protect your body from viruses, your brain from lies, your heart from panic,’ said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, urging his compatriots to stay calm, as tensions remained high on its border with Russia.

I don’t understand how the president thinks about one of the most powerful countries in the world?! Russia is not a country in Africa or Asia to threaten its leader! Their military capability is greater than yours mr president!
