The Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

The US Supreme Court has re-imposed Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s death sentence. Their decision reverses a lower court’s ruling that had revoked it.

The US Supreme Court has reinstated the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was convicted of killing three people and injuring hundreds of others with homemade bombs at the Boston Marathon in 2013.

The Supreme Court reimposed the death penalty for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who was one of two people involved with the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. No information on when his execution will be carried out. He is currently in a Colorado prison.

He’s much older than this now. I’m not sure how I feel about this. I’m not pro-death penalty. I did feel like he was manipulated by his older brother at the time. He may have resolve in hindsight because his brother died. It’s so much more complex than we outside this can know.

When are we going to be done with state sanctioned murder. Jesus. It’s more expensive than life in prison and it makes the state no better than the person they are killing. Telling yourself they deserve it doesn’t make it any less vengeful. It’s revenge, plain and simple.
