62-year-old Frank James, who was wanted in connection with Tuesday’s subway shooting in Brooklyn, has been taken into custody after being arrested in the East Village neighborhood of New York, law enforcement officials said on Wednesday.
After a manhunt, police announced they had arrested Frank James, 62, in connection with the mass shooting on a subway train in Brooklyn that injured at least 23 people.
Law enforcement officials say the person who tipped off police about the man wanted in the Brooklyn subway shooting was the suspect himself. Frank James called the NYPD’s tip line to say he was inside a McDonald’s restaurant in Manhattan.
What people are saying?
Verzu Chase@MasterXboxThe·And the NYPD lied about the cameras being down at the station, and lied he left the station from the train when he ended up switching trains and NYPD knew what story they gave the media. Same NYPD said there was nothing on the scene, then said he dropped gun and credit card.
B.Grant I thought it was widely reported that NYPD claimed to have his phone, no? The details about the case, are all over the place, but glad no one was killed during this incident.
