World leaders and climate activists discuss the present climate crisis and globally minded solutions to protect the planet

President Biden Monday pledged sharp cutbacks in U.S. carbon emissions, telling delegates to the U.N. climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland, that “there’s no more time to hang back or sit on the fence or argue among ourselves.”

UN chief Antonio Guterres warns that currently “we are digging our own graves”. And called for decarbonisation of global economies and phasing out of coal, he said world leaders need “maximum ambition” to make the summit a success.

Mike The smart countries are at least trying, but with China, Russia and India defying it all….it’s probably a hopeless venture. But at least our suffering children’s children will know we tried.
