A British F-35, one of the newest stealth fighter jets in the UK military, crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday morning while operating off the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, the UK Defense Ministry said.
An F-35 fighter from Britain’s biggest aircraft carrier crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday, though the pilot ejected and was safely returned to the ship.
The British military has called on the United States for help to recover its F-35B Lightning II jet from the sea after its pilot ejected in the Mediterranean.

Nitin Mishra,CLSO(Veteran) No matter how expensive a fighter aircraft and makers are? Operating from an aircraft carrier is not a cake walk. It’s fairly complicated affair. Fighter aircrafts do crash often worldwide.
Rajiv Lather The British erred in designing the ski ramp. It should have been a little more steeper. Not much margin of error when the bow is crashing few meters on every wave. Just my un-informed opinion.
