The UK has ordered 114 million more COVID-19 vaccination doses, comprised of 60 million additional Moderna jabs and 54 million from Pfizer for 2022 and 2023. Government officials said the UK will donate more than 100 million to countries in need by mid-2022.
The Health Secretary has said the government has ordered over 100 million doses of Covid jabs to future proof the UK’s vaccination programme. The Pfizer and Moderna shots will be supplied over the next two years and can be modified against new variants.
