The FBI identified the deceased suspect who took hostages at a Texas synagogue as a UK citizen

The FBI freed four hostages from a Texas synagogue on Saturday night after a harrowing day. The suspect is dead and officials say his motives are under investigation.

The FBI Dallas field office on Sunday identified the gunman who took four people hostage at a Dallas-area synagogue as a UK citizen. Police in the UK said they had detained two teenagers for questioning in the investigation.

The FBI says that the person who entered a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas on Saturday and took four people hostage is a 44-year-old British citizen. The bureau says there is “no indication” that other individuals were involved in the incident.
