College students see socialism as ‘good thing,’ would abolish private property rights

Capitalism is an economic system that seeks to secure private property rights; allocates resources and other assets through commoditization, market exchange, and wage labour; and pursues expansion through a profit motive and the veneration of wealth accumulation.

Private property had a massive impact on the economy. When the right of private property was established, it allowed people to own property, and benefit off the land, rather than having to give the rewards to a superior or others. This turned into private property systems.

Fracking moratoriums should be illegal b/c they violate private property rights. How can you take right of minerals in the ground away from the landowner justifiably? How is that different from saying, “You can’t use your farm to grow corn or wheat”?
