Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers formally requested a new trial over concerns that at least one of the jurors who convicted her of sex trafficking didn’t disclose their experience of being sexually abused as a child. Maxwell was found guilty on December 29 of enticing, grooming and sexually abusing underage girls with Jeffrey Epstein and faces up to 65 years in prison.
