Jury deliberations entered their second day on Wednesday in the murder trial over the 2020 killing of Ahmaud Arbery

A jury in Glynn County, Georgia, found three men – Gregory McMichael, his son Travis McMichael and their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. – guilty on multiple counts of murder for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man fatally shot while out for a jog on February 23, 2020.

A jury handed down a guilty verdict Wednesday for all three white men involved in the killing of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery. The jurors had been deliberating since Tuesday on the charges against Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael, and William ‘Roddie’ Bryan Jr.

Travis McMichael was found guilty on all nine counts in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. McMichael now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Neither did the McMichael’s. That’s the point. Even if he had been running with a flat screen it wouldn’t have been justification for them to chase him down at gun point.

dabarooni No infact chasing a man down who’s clearly jogging and also lives in the community is not the correct thing to do. The correct thing would be to mind their own damn business.
