Aaron Annecharico MA has a long history of Republican governors so I don’t think it’s as dramatic as all that but I do think Democratic AG Maura Healey has an excellent chance if she runs.
Matthew Frank Kot Governor Baker was a very moderate Republican. His social values were left enough that the electorate wouldn’t feel like they betrayed their values by voting him in. Massachusetts voters, however, do appreciate FISCAL conservatism. So he won.
