The US House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol held its first public hearing on Thursday, addressing several findings. The committee presented media of the storming of the Capitol, as well as videos of interviews and members of Trump’s administration and campaign, in addition to testimonies from US Capitol Police and Trump White House officials.
Questions have been raised about which GOP members of Congress allegedly asked Donald Trump for presidential pardons over their role in the January 6 attack, following Rep. Liz Cheney’s remarks about Scott Perry during the House committee’s first hearing.
Among the many new revelations from last night’s Jan.6 hearing: the committee said GOP Rep. Scott Perry and “multiple other Republican congressmen” sought “presidential pardons for their roles in attempting to overturn the 2020 election.”
What people are saying?
MrDemonKing No that’s not how that works because they literally muddy the waters with nonsense if they can save their own skins. That’s literally like saying “shouldn’t the criminal be allowed to tamper with evidence.”
Akasha Well that’s not going to happen when one side is only telling the story . Especially when that side doesn’t show all the evidence and uses evidence that is edited and falsified.
