The House passes the nearly $2 trillion Build Back Better bill

The House of Representatives passed the almost $2 trillion Build Back Better bill on Friday and it now goes to the Senate. It passed 220-213, with just one Democrat voting against the bill.

The Build Back Better Act that just passed the House will provide universal pre-K, deliver tax cuts for the middle class, lower the costs of child care and health care, and launch an unprecedented effort to combat climate change.

Democrats erupted in cheers as the House passed Biden’s Build Back Better economic plan with a narrow 220-213 vote Friday morning.
