The US Army will bar soldiers who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19

Army bars vaccine refusers from promotions and reenlistment. With less than one month until the deadline to vaccinate, the service will begin barring soldiers who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 without an exemption from reenlistment, promotions.

Soon, the U.S. Army will begin barring soldiers who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19 from promotions and even reenlistment, unless those soldiers have an exemption.

In a memo dated November 16, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said soldiers who refuse the vaccine would be “flagged,” preventing them from “reenlistment, reassignment, promotion, appearance before a semi-centralized promotion board, issuance of awards and decorations” and more.

What people are saying?

Mhunter Great idea. Already hard to find qualified people to join and now they’re going to bar ones that are already in for refusing a vaccine that doesn’t seem to be working very well. Great idea. Won’t have much of a military soon. Better start learning some foreign languages.

Devin S. Since when do military personnel get a say in what is required of them?? Am I wrong or isn’t there an entire list of medical requirements including vaccinations for these people? But you give them a pass on this one because…. politics….personal belief?
