Two Fox News commentators resigned from their positions in protest of a series on the insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, hosted by Tucker Carlson. The commentators, Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg, told NPR that the series aired conspiracy theories and fabricated claims that could lead to violence.
Two Fox News contributors who were both stars of the pre-Trump conservative movement, Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes, resigned from the network in protest of Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 special.
Two Fox News Channel contributors have quit, saying “irresponsible” voices have drowned out the responsible on the network. Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes, who put out a newsletter called The Dispatch, have been occasional analysts at Fox since 2009.

Bill Carpenter “Irresponsible” from whose perspective? Seems to me that responsibility is in the eye of the beholder. Troublesome, and perhaps tragic, that Americans are put in the position of struggling to find what truth is. Of course, this has happened before in history.
